Meet Dr. Sarah Miller
Dr. Miller is originally from Indiana, but moved to Chicago to pursue her Doctorate in Chiropractic where she graduated from National University of Health Science in Lombard, IL. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, she completed her Bachelors’of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Indiana University.
While completing her educational career she served for six years in the United States Air Force, as a crew chief. Aside from her military involvement during her educational timeline, she competed in several bodybuilding competitions, and earned her blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Most recently, she played women’s professional football for the Chicago Bliss; where she now serves as the team’s Chiropractor.
Dr. Miller has over 150 hours of post-graduate training hours in various physical medicine techniques including: McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis (MDT) courses A, B, C, and D; Smart Tools Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Motion Palpation Technique. Additionally, she has completed other coursework in the field of fitness and is a TRX-certified instructor. Currently, Dr. Miller is pursuing the highly-recognized Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.
When she is not treating patients, or training in the gym or on the field, she enjoys spending time outside biking, relaxing by the pool, and traveling.
Dr. Miller’s lifelong interest in sports and fitness led her to pursue a career dedicated to providing an active approach to health. She is quoted by saying:
“I believe that healthcare should be specific to the individual, and that treatment should always be customized. My goal is to help you feel better while giving you the education to take care of your body!”
